It's Time for Halloween!
It’s that time of the year where every home and neighborhood turn into spooky sites. While you get your costumes ready and your kids costumes and candy, you should think about transforming your home to match the Halloween vibe.
Below are some tips you can use to add some spookiness to your home.
Front Entrance
Give your front entrance a scary vibe by decorating it with handmade spiders, and black and white pumpkins. This will give your visitors a ghostly feeling before even entering the home. To top it off, add some black and white monogrammed décor alongside spider’s cobwebs to the main door.
Entryway
Add some sense of humor to your entryway by simply replacing your chandelier shades with some jack o lantern ones. You can find different styles that fit your spooky Halloween theme. Or you can simply add some creative ghosts to your light fixtures.
Kitchen Cabinets
Hide those regular boring mugs and replace them with some dark Halloween inspired ones. Orange and black plates also add some color to your kitchen.
Coffee Table
Remove those magazines and scented candles and let’s put some black candlesticks and mini pumpkins. Some cobwebs and spiders won’t hurt to add.
Windows
Windows are the easiest place to be creative. You can add some Halloween stickers, ghosts, spiders, or even cob webs. Be as creative as you want.
Hallway
Add some creepy dark art to your walls. Maybe a mummy or even a chopped off hand might do the trick.
Sitting Room
You will never look at loved ones the same way again after transforming their images into a ghostly display.
Curtains
Who isn’t petrified of snakes? A brilliant idea is to add some slithering snake tiebacks to your curtains.
Stairwell
Black stickers and mini pumpkins turn your plain stairs into an unexpected spot to showcase some warning messages.
Bedroom
Flip those spreadsheets and add some funky Halloween designs to your bedroom. Pumpkins, ghosts, mummies… or even devil horns might keep you up all night.
Bathroom
Yes, even your bathroom deserves the Halloween treatment. You can use cool designed toilet covers to add some festive flair or even add some spiders to your sink or mirror.
Guest Bedroom
Spook guests with a cluster of crocheted doily spiderwebs. Secure a dangling spider to the frame to complete the look.
Kids Room
Create your own beautiful, dramatic spider webs—just by using black garbage bags. These are the perfect accessory for your kids' rooms.
